Your code stays on your device

When JavaScript is enabled, jsminifier.org minifies your JavaScript entirely inside your web browser. The code you paste or upload is not sent to our server, and we never see it.

Server mode and the API

If JavaScript is turned off, or if you call the API, your code is sent to our server over HTTPS, minified in memory, and returned to you. It is not saved to disk, logged, or shared.

What we store in your browser

We save your theme (light or dark) and your minifier options in your browser's local storage so they are remembered next time. You can clear them at any time by clearing your site data.

Server logs

Like most websites, our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, date, requested page, browser type) for security and to keep the service running. Request bodies are not logged. To protect the API from abuse, we count requests per IP address for one minute; these counts are kept only in memory.
